Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
Concern is an emotion we all experience. It can be positive if it motivates us to action. But if we linger and obsess in our concern too long, it can easily transform into the ugly emotion of worry.
God doesn’t tell us that we are not to worry about some things. God tells us that we are not to worry aboutanything.
We are to pray. Prayer is what God describes as our answer and prevention of worry. We are to bring everything to God’s feet and allow him to intervene on our behalf. We are not beggars.
We are to walk with confidence. We are not to walk in fear or worry.
Isn’t that what worry is? It is fear.
Have a blessed day.
