I Will Rejoice and Be Glad in Him

1 Peter 1:6 “So, be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.”

Depression is probably the most widespread, global, and common illness that plagues our world. Even we, as Believers, are not immune to this epidemic.

For some suffering from emotional illness, they may be healed by God. For most of us, it will be a part of the  trials that we have to endure while on this world.

rejoiceWhat God promises is that what is ahead of us is wonderful joy. For this reason, God tells us that we should be glad.

When you get a chance, stop today, and read the whole chapter of 1st Peter chapter 1. It will encourage you.  It is a promise that wonderful joy is ahead of us and that we should be glad and rejoice for it. That joy will be eternal. That’s why it is so great.

Our joy is not promised for a moment, a day or a week. It is promised forever.

Today, after you’ve read 1st Peter chapter 1, take time to sing a song of praise and then thank God for the wonderful joy that is before us. I remember the chorus to a old song:

“This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.”

“I will rejoice, I will rejoice and be glad in Him.”

Be blessed and be glad.

Have a blessed day.
