Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
Every day, we make multiple decisions and choices on our path with Christ. Most of the time we use logic, knowledge, and experience to make the right choices.
But what if God told you to stand on a cafeteria table at work and give your testimony of how Christ has made a difference in your life? That may not make sense. It would be more logical to live it. Talk to my friends one at a time. Scripture tells us to not depend on our own logic, though.
Remember, it’s not what makes the most sense. It’s what God says to say and do. When Christ told Peter to go catch a fish and pull a coin out of its mouth to pay taxes, it didn’t make much sense. Christ wants us to learn to listen and follow. Not to rely upon our own logic and analysis but rather sometimes even to catch a fish and find a quarter
Today, open yourselves up and relax. Listen for the voice of the Holy Spirit to guide you. Be bold, and take some steps that will take you to places that you would otherwise never have gone.
Have a blessed day.
