Who Did You Wrong?

1 Thessalonians 5:15 “See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people.”

By the time that you are six years old, you probably have experienced the sense that somebody has done you wrong. They may have stolen your toy or said something that hurt your feelings. No matter how many years have passed, you cannot get away from the feeling that somebody has done me wrong.

no revengeFor you as a Believer, the great relief is that it doesn’t really change anything in terms of your attitude and response to others. The Bible tells us that we are to love our neighbors, and that we are to do good things towards those who bring us evil.

I am convinced  that does not mean that we are to be weak and cower before others who do us wrong. What it does mean is that we are to serve as steadfast rocks. As ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we say and do. No matter what the world does to us, it does not bother us. It does not change are reactions. We do not reflex to evil. We act armed with the Spirit of God.

Be strong and hold your head up.

Have a blessed day.
