Psalm 46:1-3 “God is our place of safety. He gives us strength. He is always there to help us in times of trouble. The earth may fall apart. The mountains may fall into the middle of the sea. But we will not be afraid. The waters of the sea may roar and foam. The mountains may shake when the waters rise. But we will not be afraid.”
When trouble comes our way, the natural tendency is to cry out to God with fear that He is not there and we need Him to get down to us and help right away.
Yes, Christ is on His throne in heaven. But He is also by your side. All the time.
God’s promise is not that He is there just in our time of trouble. But rather simply put, He isalways there.
That doesn’t mean that we are not to turn our focus and attention to Him in time of need. But as trouble comes, we are not to be afraid. Because His promise is that “He is always there,” twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Claim this promise. It will transform.
Have a blessed holiday weekend.
