Tell Me The Future

Jeremiah 33:3 “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.”

The Old Testament shows many who sought with desire to know what was going to happen in the future. Despite God’s repeated message of what was to come in Christ and his sacrifice, most, if not almost all, simply did not see it coming.

The prophets were often seen as possessing the ability to speak and forecast what was to come in the future. To some extent, the prophet was seen as capable of creating reality through his spoken words .

future

We all like to know what will be our future. The Bible tells us that even though we may not know the details of whether we will be rich or poor, live long or die young, we absolutely doknow what is to come.

The book is written and as to what will happen in the end. We know that Christ will return for us and that in the twinkling of an eye, we will join Him in the air. In Christ, we will live forever.

What a message of encouragement! So many of us spend so much time in uncertainty, anxiety, fear, and worry about what is to come. Rejoice and know that the future has already been decided. For us as believers, our book has been written. Our beginning is in Christ Jesus, and our future is everlasting!

Today, you only have great things to look forward to.

Have a blessed day.
