2 Corinthians 6:10 “We are sad, but we are always full of joy. We are poor, but we make many people rich. We have nothing, but we own everything.”
I was watching a documentary over the holidays about the Great Depression. It was tragic that in just a day, men went from great wealth to poverty. Many took their own lives in despair.
For the apostle Paul, he came from a life of affluence and wealth. As a direct result of his commitment to Christ, he was taken to what most would consider poverty, even in his time. Yet even in time of poverty and prison, Paul saw his life in God’s perspective.
There’s nothing on heaven and on earth that does not belong to Him. As His heirs, we can claim ownership to all. Yes, through Christ Jesus, we are rich in grace.
Today, you may feel beaten down by your position and place in life. Know that in Christ, you can take hope.
You own it all through Him.
Have a blessed day!
