I Peter 3:18 “Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but He was raised to life in the Spirit.”
God wants good things to happen to us. I do believe that. But at the same time, I recognize there must be a definition of what is “good” for you and me. That definition must begin and end through God’s filter for us.
Those good things must begin and end with God transforming us into His likeness.
Yes, that journey may coincide with what is seen as worldly success; but it may also follow a different path.
Regardless of our journey, that which is good, is the journey that is customized to each of us with an intent to change us to be more like Him.
When your heart’s desire is to be more like Him, only then can you really find the will of God in your life.
Have a blessed day!
